Comments on the wine
Viñas de Gaín comes from vineyards located at an altitude of 600 metres and uses grapes from the Los Iseros, Cofrades, Villalba and La Barranca vineyards. After a careful production process and storage in oak casks, the wine remains in bottle for at least six months before being released onto the market. An excellent example of a typical Rioja, this is one of the most popular wines in Spain. Elegant, fruity, very aromatic and expressive, this wine is highly representative of the region's style, and is best enjoyed slightly chilled at around 16°C.

Tasting Notes
Appearance: Dense, uniform dark cherry.
Nose: Highly intense aromas of fully ripened red berries and spices (nutmeg), with hints of liquorice and cocoa.
Palate: Flavourful, fresh with fine ripe tannins, well-balanced, medium-bodied and pleasant on the palette. Clean, with an intense finish of red berries, cocoa and balsams.
Serving temperature: 16º C
